CGMA held work meeting on compiling general machinery coal and electricity energy-saving and emission- reduction upgrading programs
In the morning of Jan. 7, 2014, China General Machinery Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as “CGMA”) held work meeting on compiling General Machinery Coal and Electricity Energy-Saving and Emission-Reduction Upgrading Programs. CGMA’s leaders, general-secretaries of its sub-association, directors of science and technology department and comprehensive department of CGMA and representatives from eight pump enterprises and seven blower enterprises attended the meeting.
The meeting was hosted by Mr. Zhang Yubao, executive vice chairman and general secretary of CGMA. Mr. Sui Yongbin, president of the presidium of CGMA, attended the meeting and introduced to the representatives the background, significance of Coal and Electricity Energy-Saving and Emission-Reduction Upgrading Programs and CGMA’s responsibilities, roles and tasks in upgrade and innovation, and together with the representatives researched compiling work on General Machinery Coal and Electricity Energy-Saving and Emission-reduction Upgrading Programs.
On September 12, 2014, National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the National Energy Board released the Coal and Electricity Energy-Saving and Emission-Reduction Upgrade and Innovation Action Plan (2014-2020).General machineries, especially pumps and blowers, are the key equipments of, widely used for coal and electricity plants and played important role of coal and electricity energy-saving and emission-reduction. For the effective implementation of the action plan for synergies, CGMA organize to carry out the relevant work in a timely manner and the convening of the meeting.
The meeting decided to form the joint working group headed by CGMA, participated by pump and blower sub-associations as well as key enterprises and shall carry out investigation and preparation. The joint working group strives to finish the preliminary program by the end of the February 2015.
